
Customer Case Study: Customized Printed Frontal Tape for Pull-up Pants – Tanzania Client
In August this year, we welcomed a new customer from Tanzania, Africa — a local baby diaper brand specializing in medium- to high-end pull-up pants, with sales covering several East African countries. The client discovered our company through Alibaba International Station and was very interested in our product range and factory capabilities, particularly our custom-printed frontal tapes for pull-up pants.
During the initial communication, the client mentioned issues with their previous supplier, such as long lead times and unstable printing quality, which affected the consistency of their packaging. After reviewing their samples and understanding their brand positioning, we recommended several suitable printing options and introduced the advantages of our high-definition gravure printing technology, eco-friendly ink, and high-adhesion hot melt glue formulation — ensuring bright colors, long-lasting adhesion, and excellent overall appearance.
Since the client placed great emphasis on brand image, our design team helped create a customized print pattern that combined their logo with bright colors preferred by the local market. After multiple rounds of sampling and video confirmation, the client approved a soft blue-and-pink color scheme. To ensure stable delivery, we arranged a dedicated production line and optimized packaging to reduce shipping volume.
The entire process — from sampling to mass production — took only three weeks, which was earlier than the client’s expected schedule. After the first batch arrived at Dar es Salaam Port, the client provided positive feedback, praising the vivid print quality and strong adhesion. They also expressed their intention to increase order volume next quarter and to work with us on matching waist and side tapes for their upcoming diaper series.
This cooperation not only helped the client stabilize their supply chain but also strengthened their brand competitiveness in the regional market.
