However, it is worth noting that local Russian brands such as Libero and Helen Harper have rapidly risen in recent years through cost-effective strategies. By 2023, the market share of local brands has increased to 28%, an increase of 7 percentage points from three years ago. This is mainly due to: firstly, local enterprises have a better understanding of local consumption habits, and product designs are more in line with the climate characteristics of Russia; Secondly, the import substitution policy implemented by the government provides strong support for local enterprises.
